Topics to be discussed include 16 Affirmative Action requirements of federal construction contractors/subcontractors to include sex discrimination in hiring; workplace accommodations for people with disabilities; wage disparities; rights of language minorities to EEO and retaliation.
Nov 29	OFCCP Construction Contractors Best Practices Seminar, Baltimore, MD. The OFCCP Baltimore District Office will host an educational seminar for construction contractors. The purpose is to provide compliance assistance regarding their equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, recordkeeping and positive outreach and recruitment obligations.
Nov 29	OFCCP Small and New S & S Contractors Seminar, Richmond, VA. The OFCCP Richmond District Office will host an educational seminar for new and small federal supply and service (non construction) contractors. The purpose is to provide compliance assistance regarding development of Affirmative Action Programs (AAPs), positive outreach and recruitment and and recordkeeping obligations.
