Dec 5 OFCCP - Workplace Accommodations under the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 , Chicago, IL.
This Chicago District Office Technical Assistance Event will discuss a contractor's obligations to provide reasonable accommodation to employees' disabilities.
Dec 5 OFCCP - How to Develop an AAP - Small and First Time Contractors, Houston, TX.
Although all Federal contractors are welcome, this workshop is specifically designed to help small and first-time Federal contractors understand Affirmative Action Plan requirements. It will provide instructions for complying with the scheduling letter, how to develop an AAP, and what OFCCP may require during the Desk Audit phase of the investigation.

This workshop is designed to provide federal construction contractors with the basic tools needed to successfully meet EEO obligations. The workshop seeks to familiarize contractors with OFCCPís mission, jurisdictional purview and requirements under 41 CFR 60-4.

OFCCP- The Boston District Office will host a seminar, Topics to be discussed include Affirmative Action requirements of federal contractors/subcontractors to include AAP development & compensation analysis.
Dec 5 Meetings to assist nuclear weapons workers , Kayenta, AZ.
Staff from the Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation's (DEEOIC) National Office and Denver District Office will host two informational meetings in Kayenta, Arizona, to discuss the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA) and the medical benefits provided under the program. Discussion will include specific information concerning home health care services, the Privacy Act, and how to better serve EEOICPA claimants. DEEOIC's traveling resource center (TRC) staff will also be available before and after each meeting to assist individuals with the taking of new claims under the EEOICPA and to provide claimants with status updates on their EEOICPA claims. The meetings will take place on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The TRC staff will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
