Apr 22 OFCCP — Construction 16 EEO & Affirmative Action Requirements , Atlanta, GA.
Participants will receive a detailed presentation on what construction contractors need to know in order to stay in compliance with the 16 affirmative action steps enforced by OFCCP.
Apr 22 Prevailing Wage Seminar, San Diego, CA.
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division (WHD) will host a free seminar in San Diego, CA to provide outreach on the rules concerning prevailing wage requirements under the Davis-Bacon Act (DBA), McNamara-O’Hara Service Contract Act (SCA) and Executive Order 13495 “Nondisplacement of Qualified Workers.” To attend the seminar, please send an email to that includes the participant’s name, title, organization and email address, as well as the location of the seminar. There is no fee for attending; however, space is limited. Upon receipt of this information, a Labor Department representative will advise whether the request can be accommodated.
