May 17 OFCCP - Women in Non-Traditional Occupations, Omaha, NE.
The Omaha District Office will offer a presentation regarding the types of nontraditional jobs for women, as well as the challenges of women in nontraditional jobs, including discrimination.
May 17 OFCCP - 11th Annual Women Empowered Conference, San Antonio, TX.
The Women Empowered Conference is a free one-day motivational conference for women who are considering a return to school or joining the workforce and would like more information about careers and enhancing leadership skills. Members of the OFCCP San Antonio District Office will be presenting a workshop entitled, “Know Your Rights, ” to inform women of their employment rights without regard to race, gender, religion, national origin, disability and veteran status. Safety in the workplace, youth rights in employment, training and apprenticeship, sexual harassment and the complaint process will also be discussed. OFCCP will also host an exhibitor’s table in order to provide additional information and to address inquiries as it relates to the Department of Labor and OFCCP.

A one day training seminar for all interested labor union officers, staff, and members. Training topics include an overview of OLMS and the LMRDA, Union Officer Elections, Financial Recordkeeping and Internal Controls, Labor Organization Annual Financial Reports (LM-2, LM-3, and LM-4), Trustee Auditing of Union Records, and Electronic Filing of LM reports using the OLMS Electronic Forms System (EFS).
