OFCCP- The Hartford District Office will participate in this conference and panel discussion sponsored by the Vermont Attorney General and EEOC addressing state and federal equal pay enforcement and business best practices. The panel will include OFCCP, the Women’s Bureau, the Office of the Vermont Attorney General, and the EEOC. Attendees will include community stakeholders and advocates, business groups, and labor representatives. Vermont Senator Patrick Leahy will make a video presentation. Former Vermont Governor Madeline M. Kunin will speak on how Vermont can achieve equal pay. Break-out sessions will discuss legal compliance, education and outreach, and legislative initiatives.

Seminar: Understanding Special Minimum Wages under Section 14(c) of the FLSA ,

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division will offer a free seminar in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to assist employers and community rehabilitation programs (CRPs) in complying with Section 14(c) of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
