Staff from the Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC) will be participating in a town hall meeting in Upton, New York, to provide information about a new class of former Brookhaven National Laboratory employees recently added to the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act's (EEOICPA) Special Exposure Cohort. Staff from DEEOIC's traveling resource center will also be available before and after the town hall meeting to assist individuals with the filing of new claims under the EEOICPA. All attendees must bring photo identification and check-in with security at the front gate. The town hall meeting will take place on July 17, 2012, at 6 p.m. The traveling resource center will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Brookhaven Center's South Room and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Berkner Hall Auditorium (Bldg. 488). |
