The Milwaukee District Office will host a records retention and internet applicant requirements seminar. This seminar will discuss records maintenance requirements, types of records to maintain and where to maintain records in paper and electronic formats.

This workshop will seek to inform community based organizations and their constituents of OFCCP’s legal authority in protecting workers' employment rights, complaint procedures, remedies of discrimination, and more. There is no charge to attend this event.

Jul 17 Free Seminar: Understanding Special Minimum Wages under Section 14(c) of the FLSA, Kokomo, IN.
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division will offer a free seminar in Kokomo, Indiana on July 17, 2013 to assist employers and community rehabilitation programs (CRPs) in complying with Section 14(c) of the Fair Labor Standards Act. Guardians and family members of workers with disabilities are invited and encouraged to attend as well. There is no fee to attend this conference; however, space is limited. Registration starts at 8:00 AM and the seminar runs from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If you wish to attend, please follow the registration prompt. The Boston District Office will host this Seminar, we will be reviewing Affirmative Action requirements for federal contractors and subcontractors, including AAP development and compensation analysis. So please join us. Call 617-624-6780 to register.
Jul 17 Town Hall Meetings to assist Nuclear Weapons Workers , Portsmouth, OH.
The Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC) will host two town hall meetings in Portsmouth, Ohio, to discuss the medical benefits provided under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA). Discussion will include specific information concerning home health care services, the Privacy Act, and how to better serve EEOICPA claimants. DEEOIC's Portsmouth Resource Center staff will also be available before and after each town hall meeting to assist individuals interested in filing a new claim under the EEOICPA. The town hall meetings will begin at 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The extended resource center hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
