Aug 2 OFCCP - Women in Non-Traditional Occupations, Omaha, NE.
The Omaha District Office will offer a presentation regarding the types of nontraditional jobs for women, as well as the challenges of women in nontraditional jobs, including discrimination.
Aug 2 OFCCP-Community Based Organization Event, Philadelphia, PA.
The Philadelphia District Office will host a community outreach and education event to enable Community-Based Organizations in the Philadelphia area and OFCCP to come together, build relationships in the community, and work together cooperatively to promote equal employment opportunity for CBO stakeholders. OFCCP will provide an overview of its mission of protecting workers, promoting diversity, and enforcing the law and describe its linkage and outreach activities. Each CBO will be invited to describe its mission. Each month a CBO will be featured as a joint presenter.

A webinar designed to address the current state of accessible technology for those with cognitive and developmental disabilities, as well as provide examples of the current and future use of these technologies in the workplace. Aug 2 US DOL Informational and Outreach Forum, Baton Rouge, LA.
Six US DOL agencies are hosting this major event. It is designed to promote public access to federal agencies and to increase the public's awareness of the DOL's mission. This Forum is free and open to the public. The attending agencies will host several workshops and informational sessions. The OFCCP will present a workshop for federal contractors, which will provide attendees with an update on recent OFCCP regulatory changes (VEVRAA and 503).
