Aug 26 OFCCP Construction 16 EEO & Affirmative Action Requirements , Atlanta, GA.
Participants will receive a detailed presentation on what construction contractors need to know in order to stay in compliance with the 16 affirmative action steps enforced by OFCCP.
Aug 26 Open House to assist nuclear weapons workers, Richland, WA.
Officials from the Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC) will participate in an open house in Richland, Washington, to notify current and former nuclear weapons workers about the benefits available under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA). Survivors of qualified workers also may be entitled to benefits. Current and former workers are invited to stop at DEEOIC's table and ask questions about the EEOICPA. Staff from DEEOIC's Seattle district office and Hanford resource center will also be available to assist individuals with the filing of new claims under the EEOICPA and to provide claimants with status updates on their existing EEOICPA claims.
