The Columbus District Office will host a seminar for new and existing contractors and subcontractors on the development of Affirmative Action Plans as required by Executive Order 11246, as amended, Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, and the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974, as amended, as well as analyzing personnel activity data and maintaining applicant flow data.

This event is a two-part event. Part One (1) of the presentation will discuss the types of nontraditional jobs for women, as well as the challenges women face in nontraditional jobs, including discrimination. Part Two (2) of the presentation will cover the elements of a retaliation complaint including: regulatory statutes, timeframes for filing complaints, and OFCCP complaint processing.
