The Mine Safety and Health Administration will join forces with the Nevada Mine Rescue Association to host the 7th Annual Mine Rescue Contest in Winnemucca, Nev. Mine rescue contests are designed to test the skills of mine rescue teams in a simulated emergency (such as a mine fire, explosion or cave-in) so that, in the event of a real mine disaster, they will be ready and able to respond. |
