Event Name: Federal Advisory Council on Occupational Safety and Health Meeting
Description: OSHA is holding a meeting of the Federal Advisory Council on Occupational Safety and Health (FACOSH) in Washington, D.C. FACOSH advises the Secretary of Labor on all matters relating to the occupational safety and health of federal employees. This includes providing advice on how to reduce and keep to a minimum the number of injuries and illnesses in the federal workforce and how to encourage each federal executive branch department and agency to establish and maintain effective occupational safety and health programs. The tentative agenda includes a review of revised recommendations on permissible exposure limits from the FACOSH Emerging Issues Permissible Exposure Limits Work Group, proposed changes to the Federal Agency Recordkeeping rule, and H1N1 recommendations the Secretary of Labor recently approved.
