The Department of Labor Women’s Bureau (WB) Kansas City regional staff will attend and promote awareness of WB initiatives at the Women and Girls HIV Awareness Day event to be held at the Kauffman Convention Center, in Kansas City, MO on March 7. The goal of the event is to encourage people to take action in the fight against HIV/AIDS and raise awareness of its impact on women and girls as part of a nationwide observance coordinated by the Office on Women's Health, within the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. |
