The Department of Labor Women’s Bureau Boston regional staff will present and have an exhibit at the International Women’s Day “Women and Hunger: Putting Food on the Table” event to be held at Simmons College, in Boston, MA on March 8. The event will include a morning panel presentation by four women experts in the field. Other participating organizations include the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women, United Nations Association of Greater Boston, Boston Coalition of Black Women, Inc., Boston Women’s Fund, Boston Women’s Commission, Center for Women in Politics & Public Policy-UMass Boston, Massachusetts Chapter of the National Organization for Women, and the Brazilian Immigrant Center. |
