Nov 6 , 2014 What to expect during an OFCCP Audit Please join the OFCCP Houston District Office for a presentation designed to provide an overview of OFCCPs evaluation process. The compliance officers/presenters will explain the process from the receipt of the scheduling letter to what happens during the onsite. This venue allows federal contractors an advance opportunity to prepare and understand the desk audit and onsite portions of the evaluation process. Nov 6 , 2014 Federal Advisory Council on Occupational Safety and Health Meeting OSHA scheduled a meeting of the Federal Advisory Council on Occupational Safety and Health (FACOSH). The council advises the Secretary of Labor on all matters relating to the occupational safety and health of federal employees. This includes providing advice on how to reduce the number of injuries and illnesses in the federal workforce and how to encourage each federal executive branch department and agency to establish and maintain effective occupational safety and health programs. The tentative agenda includes updates from FACOSH subcommittees and on recordkeeping rule changes affecting federal agencies, protecting workers from retaliation, and update future metrics on the Presidential POWER Initiative.
