Aug 20 , 2014 Town Hall Meeting to assist nuclear weapons workers Staff from Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation's (DEEOIC) Denver district office will host a town hall meeting in Shiprock, New Mexico, to provide the public with information about the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act and the medical benefits available under the program. The town hall meeting presentation will begin at 10:00 a.m. DEEOIC's Denver district office and Espanola resource center staff will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to assist individuals with the filing of new claims under the EEOICPA and provide claimants with status updates on their existing claims. Aug 20 , 2014 Town Hall Meetings to assist nuclear weapons workers Officials from the Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC) will host two town hall meetings in North Augusta, South Carolina, to discuss the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA) and the medical benefits provided under the program. The town hall meeting presentations will begin at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The information presented at each meeting will be the same. DEEOIC's Jacksonville district office and Savannah River resource center staff will also be available from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. to assist individuals with the filing of new claims under the EEOICPA and provide claimants with status updates on their existing EEOICPA claims. Aug 26 , 2014 Open House to assist nuclear weapons workers Officials from the Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC) will participate in an open house in Richland, Washington, to notify current and former nuclear weapons workers about the benefits available under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA). Survivors of qualified workers also may be entitled to benefits. Current and former workers are invited to stop at DEEOIC's table and ask questions about the EEOICPA. Staff from DEEOIC's Seattle district office and Hanford resource center will also be available to assist individuals with the filing of new claims under the EEOICPA and to provide claimants with status updates on their existing EEOICPA claims.
