Prevailing Wage Seminar The U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division (WHD) will host a free seminar in San Diego, CA to provide outreach on the rules concerning prevailing wage requirements under the Davis-Bacon Act (DBA), McNamara-O’Hara Service Contract Act (SCA) and Executive Order 13495 “Nondisplacement of Qualified Workers.” To attend the seminar, please send an email to whdpws@dol.gov that includes the participant’s name, title, organization and email address, as well as the location of the seminar. There is no fee for attending; however, space is limited. Upon receipt of this information, a Labor Department representative will advise whether the request can be accommodated.
