Jul 24 , 2013 DOL Information & Outreach Forum - Preparing Employers and Workers for Success The OFCCP Denver District Office will present several sessions on a variety of topics at the forum: 1) General Affirmative Action Program requirements, for new contractors and those not familiar with OFCCP; 2) Common problem areas for federal contractors, for contractors who may be reviewed and those who wish to learn more about OFCCP; 3) OFCCP joint session with the Secretary's Regional Representative (SRR) and the Women's Bureau (WB), where OFCCP will address non-discrimination in compensation practices and the other presenters will address equal pay; and, 4) Agency leaders opening panel and closing panel on success for employers and workers for community based organizations and other representatives. Prevailing Wage Conference The Wage and Hour Division will host a conference to provide outreach on the rules concerning prevailing wage requirements under the Davis-Bacon Act (DBA). Conference registration is from 7-9 am on Day 1 and the last session for that day ends at 5:00pm. Day 2’s first session begins at 8:00am and the last session for that day ends at 5:00pm. DEEOIC's traveling resource center staff will also be available before and after the town hall meeting to assist individuals intersted in filing a new claim under the EEOICPA.
