MSHA Fire Suppression and Fire Protection Advisor

You have selected undergound diesel equipment, mobile equipment, non-permissible self-propelled equipment (heavy duty) used to cut or move rock or coal including locomotives before 11/25/1999, and primary escapeway with miners inby.

The Advisor indicates that this is allowed for hauling coal incidental to cleanup or maintenance of escapeway. 75.380(f)(3)

The minimum requirement is:

Manual fire suppression meeting 75.1107-3 thru 75.1107-16 or meeting 75.1911. 75.380(f)(4)
