Question: Who is eligible to apply for the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP)?

Answer: Program participants must be at least 55 years of age and have a family income of no more than 25% over the Federal poverty level. The Federal poverty level is updated on a yearly basis, usually in February, by the Department of Health and Human Services. Enrollment priority is given to persons over age 60, Veterans, and qualified spouses of veterans.
