MSHA Fire Suppression and Fire Protection Advisor
You have selected underground electrical equipment, other stationary or portable equipment using hydraulic fluid (Unattended), and located in primary escapeway with miners inby.
The Advisor indicates that this is allowed.
The minimum requirements are:
1. Fire resistant hydraulic fluid. 75.1107-1(a)(1) |
2. Automatic fire suppression system installed according to 75.1107-3 thru 75.1107-16. 75.1107-1(a)(2) |
3A. Two 2A:10B:C portable fire extinguishers or one having at least twice the minimum capacity at permanent installations 75.1100-2(e)(1) |
