MSHA Fire Suppression and Fire Protection Advisor
You have selected undergound diesel equipment, diesel fuel storage facilities and areas, temporary diesel fuel storage facilities, and primary escapeway with no one inby.
The Advisor indicates that this is allowed.
The minimum requirements are:
1. 240-lbs. Rock dust and Two 10A:60B:C portable fire extinguishers 75.1903(b)(1) |
2. For non-self-propelled fuel transportation units with electrical components connected to a source of electrical power, a fire suppression system meeting the requirements of 5.1107-3 thru 75.1107-6, 75.1107-8 thru 75.1107-16. 75.1906(g) |
