MSHA Fire Suppression and Fire Protection Advisor
You have selected undergound diesel equipment, mobile equipment, permissible (part 36) equipment until 11/25/1999, and primary escapeway with miners inby.
The Advisor indicates that this is allowed. Coal haulage allowed only incidental to cleanup or maintenance of escapeway. 75.380(f)(3)(i)
The minimum requirements are:
1. Attended with manual fire suppression system meeting 75.1107-3 thru 75.1107-16 or 75.1991. 75.380(f)(4)(i) |
2.Portable fire extinguisher per Part 36 approval. |
