MSHA Fire Suppression and Fire Protection Advisor
You have selected undergound diesel equipment, mobile equipment, other self-propelled equipment such as mechanic units, and personnel carriers (Each unit or machine is considered light duty) after 11/25/1999, and other areas of mine.
The Advisor indicates that this is allowed.
The minimum requirements are:
1. Automatic or manual fire suppression system (NRITL). 75.1909(i) |
2. One 10A:60B.C portable fire extinguisher. 75.1909(a)(2) |
