Individual with a Disability

Under Federal disability nondiscrimination laws, this term means an individual, applicant, employee or participant who:

  • has a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more of the major life activities of such individual;
  • has a record of such an impairment; or
  • is regarded as having such an impairment.
