Fair Labor Standards Act Advisor

The Fair Labor Standards Act Amendments of 1989 include a "Preservation of Coverage" clause which applies to companies/organizations that were subject to the requirements of the FLSA prior to April 1, 1990, but have not reached the $500,000 annual dollar volume of sales or receipts for current enterprise coverage. This is commonly referred to as grandfather coverage.

Were you in business on March 31, 1990? (If you were in business but not operating due to a seasonal slowdown, answer yes.)
